The client brief required separate zones for different needs to accommodate extended family visits.
There needed to be a connection to the external environment and spaces internally that allowed for separate moments and experiences.
The home is orientated to fill the internal environment with natural light and provide good cross ventilation allowing better control of internal conditions year round.
We created a modern yet warm and understated aesthetics.
Due to the long north oriented boundary we were able to create two ‘towered’ elements with a transitionary space between for connection, light and experience.
The towered elements housed the separate zones for privacy and entertainment. Elevated spaces such as balconies and full height windows ensure an experience connection to the external environment.
